The bright new star of the University of Wisconsin/Madison campus is the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery (WID). This unique facility, completed in December 2010, is designed to further collaboration and interaction between public and private research, in the diverse fields of biology, information technology and engineering, vital to advancing human health.
