Healthcare

The healthcare industry is one of the most ever-changing, always improving industries. AVI Systems has helped a variety of healthcare providers and related organizations use audio visual technology to increase efficiencies and stay at the leading edge of this dynamic industry.

Telemedicine: Leading the Trend

AVI Systems established a high-tech telemedicine system for the Woodwinds Orthopoedic Learning Center (OLC) in Woodbury, MN. Primary technology includes two high-definition video cameras that stream recorded surgery activity to an associated student training lab. In addition, an equipment rack holds the video equipment and allows users to control where the camera points and how it pans.

Lab Test

The Woodwinds OLC allows students to monitor surgeries through a telemedicine experience. Equipped with a wall-mounted camera and audio capabilities throughout the room, the lab also provides video conferencing capabilities.

A Room with Multi-Views

This amazing network operations center allows Blue Cross Blue Shield to monitor and track systems, news and data related to their entire organization. Three large-screen rear-projection video walls expand operators’ viewing capacity, and equipment racks house the supporting technology in convenient yet hidden location.

Combined Purposes

Designed and built for Blue Cross Blue Shield, this room combines presentation technology with video conferencing. One end of the room offers a single large screen with rear-projection. Monitors mounted on sidewalls extend the presentation viewing capacity. A wall mounted camera provides video conferencing capability and a touch screen panel allows users to control the presentation, audio, video and lighting.

Consulting the Doctor

We designed this consultation room for Center of Cosmetic Dentistry to allow doctors and clinicians to work with clients and help them learn about some of their options via video presentations. The room offers video monitors with touch screen panel to control video output.

Auditorium Technology

This presentation auditorium offers a single large screen with a front-projection presentation system and an audio distribution system. A speaker’s podium allows users to control audio, video and lighting.

High-tech Training

For Stowers, we integrated a single front-projection presentation screen with a touch screen panel to control presentation and lighting into an already high-tech computer training classroom.

Presenting on One Side…

AVI Systems designed this dual purpose room for presentations and video conferencing. The presentation side offers a single interactive whiteboard with a front-projection system. The table offers recessed microphones, recessed panels for laptop hookups, and a touch screen panel to control the presentation, lights, audio, and video.

…And Video Conferencing on the Other

The other side of the room offers two plasma/LCD monitors and a wall-mounted video camera, for video conferencing between multiple locations.

Boardroom Technology

Boardrooms can be quite simple, as in the example shown above. This room incorporates a large presentation screen with a front projection system seamlessly integrated into the drop ceiling. The table includes recessed panels for electrical and cabling. A presenter’s podium at the front of the room has a gooseneck microphone and a touch screen panel to control projector, audio, video and lights.

Client Review: Health East

"I cannot say enough good things about your engineers. They really went the extra mile to ensure that the job was completed efficiently.  They also took ample time with our staff to explain how the system worked. It was a pleasure working with all of you, and I look forward to working together in the future."
