Legal & Correctional

Audio visual solutions from AVI Systems have been used by legal agencies to enhance the flow of legal proceedings, make information sharing more efficient and effective, and open evidentiary opportunities that were previously unavailable.

Order in the Court

AVI Systems gave this mock courtroom for Lathrop and Gage the real audio visual treatment! Each judge’s seat has a microphone and a monitor, as do both the plaintiff and defendant tables. The room is equipped with a front-projection presentation screen, an audio distribution system, and a wall-mounted camera to record proceedings. A speaker’s podium offers a microphone and a touch screen panel to control audio and video.

Staying Focused

We designed and built this simple presentation room at Lathrop and Gage to offer a offer a single wall mounted LCD monitor, a hidden control rack with DVD capability, and a touch screen panel to control lights, shades, audio and video.

Video Conferencing Room

Perfect for geographically dispersed trial teams, this video conferencing room gives law teams a way to experience the next best thing to in-person meetings. Technologies include: dual wall mounted LCD monitors, a wall-mounted camera, table-recessed microphones and a touch screen panel to control audio and video.

Checks and Balances

Technology for this mock courtroom includes a large front-projection presentation screen, along with monitors at the judges’ seats and the plaintiff and defendant tables. Microphones and speakers are installed throughout the room, and ceiling mounted cameras allow proceedings to be recorded. The presentation podium has a gooseneck microphone, a document camera and laptop hookups that connect to presentation technology.

Control Room

This control room for Faegre and Bensen allows operators to keep track of all presentation, audio and video technology throughout their firm. They can also control camera angles, record presentations, and provide basic troubleshooting if any of the rooms has technical difficulties.

Video Conferencing Center

We engineered this single purpose room strictly for video conferencing. Technologies include a plasma monitor with attached video camera, table-recessed microphones and a recessed cable and electrical outlet for easy laptop hookups. A touch screen panel allows presenters to control video and audio.

For Larger Meetings

For our clients at Grant Thornton, we integrated video conferencing technology into their boardroom. Audio visual components include: a plasma monitor and wall mounted camera at the front of the room; table top microphones; table-recessed panels for cabling and electrical; and a touch screen panel to control audio, video and lights.

Real World Example

The Ingham County Courthouse elegantly uses technology to enhance their courtroom activities. Strategically integrated wall-mounted cameras and microphones allow the ICC to record court proceedings. Additional technologies include monitors at the judges seats and the plaintiff and defendant tables, as well as a podium with a microphone and document camera.
