Sales Engineer (IPTV)

We cross the entire spectrum of business, government, healthcare, education and entertainment and we’re currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team.

The Sales Engineer partners with our Sales Teams in various ways in a pre-sale’s technical role, providing technical consultancy and specialized support to augment the sales efforts. The Sales Engineer will give demonstrations and technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects; design and demonstrate IPTV products and solutions; explain features/benefits and system flow to customers; and design IPTV and OTT solutions to meet specific customer needs.

The SE also assists with the development of formal sales plans and proposals; may have direct customer interaction through the life cycle of a sale, communicate with all levels of staff and customers, ranging from project managers to corporate executives dependent on the account manager/sales team’s direction. Additional responsibilities include technical training in house and utilization of customer feedback for solution development.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years related industry and pre-sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Preferred.
  • Cisco Networking Certifications are a plus.
  • Formal training in IPTV or other Broadcast Technologies (Ex: CBT, CEA, CEV, CBNE) is preferred
  • Understands the complete video infrastructure – transcoders, CDN, STB and other devices, middleware, provisioning, ad-insertion, monitoring.
