What You Will Be Doing: The Broadcast Specialist will directly support one of our large customers based in the Austin area. This person will be providing technical support to all Broadcast and AV Technologies within their control rooms and other collaboration spaces.
What You Bring to Assure Success:
- At least (3) years’ experience in an A/V technical position or live production technical environment
- Experience in broadcast/TV/control room setting for live events.
- Have a strong working knowledge of broadcast signal workflow, and signal types and possess strong signal pathway diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable diagnosing and maintaining technical equipment including production switchers, transmission automation systems, production support equipment, and critical signal distribution components.
- Must demonstrate moderate networking and IT skills including knowledge of server support, network attached storage, general networking, and workstation support.
- Experience with fiber connectivity, video production systems, A/V routing and patching, audio equipment, graphics systems, and editing systems.
- Experience supporting AV Technology within conference rooms, huddle rooms, and other collaboration spaces
- Good working knowledge of Control Systems (ex: Crestron, Extron, QSC) and DSPs (ex: Biamp, QSC, Clear One)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting problems and responding quickly under pressure.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction.
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Any key Broadcast and/or AV industry certifications are a plus.
