HEALTHCARE SEMINAR: Improving patient care and operational efficiencies with Secure Visual Collaboration.
Todd Nolan, Director of Sales – Haivision
Those in the healthcare industry are challenged to do more with less while enhancing patient outcomes. In this seminar you will learn how technology can improve efficiencies by lowering operating costs, increasing collaboration, and improving the patient experience. To achieve this value, it is important to consider what technologies are acceptable to deploy in a security conscious environment that demands streamlined workflows. It is more critical than ever for systems within an organization to have distributed architectures that are highly secure and minimally impactful to IT departments. It is also important that these systems are user-friendly and easily adoptive. This means the technology must increase communication by remotely supporting decision making in real-time across facilities and the barriers of geography. You will leave this seminar with an understanding of the latest trends in video streaming and media management, as well as how to plan and budget for the demands of doing more with less in the future.

Participants will learn basic system requirements, limitations, and applications of IP distribution so they can better assess suitability within the framework of a given project. Real-world scenarios and applications will be discussed, as well as resources for additional information and assistance in designing and implementing a network-based signal distribution system.
