Don Mastro Named to NSCA Board

MINNEAPOLIS – March 8, 2021 – AVI Systems today announced that the company’s Vice President of Sales, Don Mastro, has been named to the board of the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA). The NSCA is the leading not-for-profit association representing the commercial low-voltage electronic systems industry. As a board member, Mastro will provide strategic thinking to the association’s staff and share industry insight into trends, big picture concepts and best practices designed to help the entire industry advance and improve.

“I’m excited about joining the NSCA board and furthering the organization’s mission to represent the commercial integration industry,” said Mastro. “The NSCA is a powerful advocate for everyone who works in the integration industry, from systems integrators like AVI Systems to manufacturers, consultants, sales representatives, architects, specifying engineers and other allied professionals.”

His expertise will help guide board decision-making and enhance the strategic thinking our organization takes as we plan for the future,” said Chuck Wilson, NSCA Executive Director. “We’re thrilled to have Don join the board for his initial three-year term.”

Mastro joined AVI Systems in 2017 and oversees a sales team of 100 professionals who serve AVI Systems customers throughout North America. Prior to AVI Systems, Mastro held leadership roles at GE Capital, Intellisys Group, AVI-SPL, and Crestron Electronics.

In addition to his role at AVI Systems, Mastro serves as Vice President of Global Sales at GPA. AVI serves as a regional business unit of GPA in the United States, helping global enterprises think and act global as they create workplaces that deliver an engaged workforce. He is a graduate of Hamline University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in management and marketing. Mastro is also a Certified Technology Specialist and has served on the Board of Governors at InfoComm.
