AVI Systems Goes All In with InfoComm Training and Education

Business December 29, 2014

AVI Systems continues to go above and beyond with InfoComm certifications by providing annual in-house Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) training.

The week of Dec. 15, 2014, more than 20 employees, ranging from technical support to marketing and sales, will complete the three-day training. AVI recently completed its first in-house training for the CTS-D (Design) certification and the third for the CTS-I (Installation).

Currently, AVI holds over 175 CTS certifications, as well as several in general IT and networking, low voltage, project management and manufacturer certifications.

“We invest heavily in education and training – what some would probably call overkill,” said Jeff Stoebner, CEO of AVI Systems. “But, if we say we’re going to provide the best service and the best support, we have to actually have the resources to do it."

He said, "We have to be able to back it up – and we can, just by investing in ourselves."
